Sota can supply Post Hole Diggers and other implements for all tasks around the farm. Single or Double-Cut Augers are available in a range of sizes, from 4" to 24".
The AGMAX Post Hole Digger uses a heavy 50HP gearbox for increased down force on hard ground.
The AGMAX 6" Auger is ideal for making pilot holes for bigger Augers in tough ground or for holes for treated pine fence posts. Having uniformly sized posts matched to your Auger reduces the amount of back breaking filling and ramming.
For most fencing applications, use the AGMAX 9" Auger. It's also handy for tree planting, but make sure to break up the hole with your bar afterwards. Surfaces glazed from post hole boring can be impervious to establishing roots.
Suitable for larger jobs, the AGMAX 12" Auger is the implement of choice for serious stay posts or stumping a shed. 25 HP and up is recommended.
Pour water on the Auger as it is digging to ease progress through harder soils.
