Superior Transmission
With a Shift-On-The-Go,  2-Speed HST Transmission, the EA2400 can change ranges from high to low or low to high without stopping which is a feature exclusive to the EA2400 - a Yanmar first!

A Genuine TRACTOR - Not a Ride-on Mower
The Yanmar EA2400 is a real tractor and not just a lawn mower. This compact and versatile machine accepts a wide range of implements and will accept hydraulic attachments such as a Front-End Loader or a Mid-Mount Mower Deck.

Operator-Friendly
The easy-to-engage electric PTO switch allows hydraulic fluid to enter the PTO clutches slowly, resulting in smoother engagement of the implement and an extended system life. This is ideal for people transitioning from a lawn or garden tractor and helps them become comfortable with the operation of a PTO.

Advanced Hydraulic System
With dual hydraulic pumps, the EA2400 handles attachments with less loss of power because the drive system and implements are powered separately. The hydraulics respond more smoothly, at low or high-speeds.

Flexible Footprint
The wheel-kit provides extra flexibility and may be setup with a narrow footprint to facilitate manoeuvering in tight corners or may be set wide to provide increased stability on uneven terrain. The EA2400 comes with non-aggressive industrial tyres as standard kit or it may be ordered with optional turf tyres for an even gentler footprint. The front axle is tough, with power steering actuated by twin hydrostatic rams. This translates into a tighter turning circle and a tractor robust enough to handle the demands of a Front End Loader.

Safety Features & Comfort
The EA2400 comes standard with a ROPS and a retractable seat belt.  Exclusive to the EA2400 are three (3) sturdy and logically-placed Grab Handles, which provide easier and safer entry and exit from the EA2400's wide platform. Another safety innovation that cannot be found on competitor offerings is the provision of Front-Mounted Worklights. These additional front lights provide brighter and safer operation of all front-mounted attachments, for dusk-to-dawn operation. The AL27 Front-End Loader is a Quick Release Loader - simply pull the pins and plugs to detach it from the tractor, when not required.

Quick Release function, allowing fast removal if needed.

The EA2400 is ideal for schools, golf courses, lawnmowing businesses, tourist operations and all small acreage properties. The engine is reversed so that the cooling system is not exposed to radiator-clogging dust and grass thrown up by the mower and loader. This system also allows the mowing deck to be raised higher, giving enviable ground clearance. For operators with mobility issues, the EA2400 has convenient grab handles to compliment the easy step-through seating arrangement.

The EA2400 is also useful for cleanup and construction jobs and it's wheels may be adjusted to a narrow setting, making it ideal for negotiating tight corners and navigating narrow-rows. A wider wheel setting may be used for more stability on hilly land. Even the fuel tank is located low to reduce the centre of gravity.

Make no mistake, the EA2400 is not a glorified ride-on mower. It is a feature loaded, full chassis, quality tractor that accepts a vast range of implements and can be operated from sunrise to sunset. Furthermore, the EA2400 has powerful side lights that illuminate the cutting area in low light and also front-mounted work lights, that may be used in conjunction with its standard headlights, to provide superior illumination.
