Ken from Bundalaguah is delighted with the Kubota L1-20DT he purchased from SOTA Tractors. “You ought to see the work we’ve done with it! It’s an amazing machine,” Ken says. Ken’s first project was to level the ground in order to erect a 15m x 8m shed. Originally, there was only a gravel track on uneven ground. Ken used the 4-in-1 bucket to scrape and level the soil in preparation for building. By transporting sand to the site with the front end loader (FEL), he was able to avoid a lot of shovel and barrow work.

The next project involved creating metre-wide laneways to his clothesline and digging out a shallow trench for a concrete pathway to the shed. Ken used the 4-in-1 FEL for both. “The FEL is incredible and the amount of time it has saved us has been brilliant,” he says.

When rain poured onto a hillock on the lawn, the runoff puddled around the house and shed, so Ken scraped off about four inches of soil to fix the runoff problem. “It’s a great little tractor; it really is. It’s got lots of power and I like using the 4-in-1 FEL the most,” he says.

And what about SOTA Tractors’ after sales support? “The wind kept lifting up the inspection cap that covers my radiator cap. The latch on it broke, so I phoned SOTA Tractors and asked if I could get a new one,” Ken recalls. Within two days a replacement had arrived in Ken’s letterbox. “SOTA’s customer service is great; very helpful and efficient.”

The adventure is just beginning for Ken. He has more projects planned as he becomes acquainted with his AGMAX implements. “There’s a large hoeing job on the horizon, and of course, grass cutting with my slasher,” he says. “I really like my SOTA Kubota. We are so pleased with its power and maneuverability and the fuel gauge never seems to move.”
