Kubota L2202DT Tractor Features
Powerful and economical to run, the Kubota L2202DT offers an excellent value proposition for lifestyle farmers on a budget, who require a quality tractor with great after-sales support. The Kubota L2202DT has bigger, wider wheels for increased stability and is powered by a renowned Kubota 26hp diesel engine, manufactured in Japan. Its cast-iron chassis & 4WD transmission deliver more “grunt” for loader work than a “garden” tractor.
The L2202DT has 16 forward gears and 4 reverse gears, including creeper gears, which offer slow operational speeds. Low gearing is often useful in unfamiliar situations where caution may be required, or for specific tasks, such as pipe laying. For all “slowly-does-it” applications, creeper gears are your friend!
AGMAX Loader with 4 in 1 Bucket
The Kubota L2202DT is equipped with a brand new, heavy-duty front-end loader with a 4 in 1 bucket. It is capable of lifting 300kg. Tractor Features
The APOLLO 454 is a versatile 45hp tractor for small acreage farms. It is larger than most compact 45hp tractors, providing superior traction, stability and power. The APOLLO 454 offers shuttle shift and a four-cylinder direct-injection engine with an under-bonnet muffler. The front-end loader comes with a versatile 4-in-1 bucket and has a SWL of 480kg.
Fencing & Pasture Management
Your fencing and mowing tractor package combines three key AGMAX implements: a post-hole digger, a slasher, and a carryall. Combined with your tractor, these implements are ideal for building paddocks and fences on new farms, repairing old fences, and pasture maintenance. They are the most popular implements for small farms.
AGMAX Posthole Digger
New and established farms require postholes—often lots of them. A post-hole digger will significantly lighten the work involved in building paddocks and fences or repairing existing fences. Use your posthole digger to install shed posts or drill holes to plant trees – great if you’re planning an orchard!
You can choose between a 6″, 9″ or 12″ auger for your post-hole digger, with any of our tractor fencing packages.
AGMAX Slasher
Slashers are essential on most farms for cutting grass and unwanted growth. A slasher can also tidy up along fence lines, wall edges and roadsides and are good for maintaining firebreaks. A slasher is the most frequently requested tractor implement in Australia.
AGMAX Carryall
An AGMAX carryall will facilitate many farm tasks, providing a convenient tractor platform to enable transportation of fence-building materials such as posts, wire and tools, plant and sapling pots, fertilizer bags, steel drums, firewood, animal supplies, and so on. The AGMAX carryall has a tough, chequer-plate floor for years of use.
Package Variations & Options
Do you keep animals and do you need to feed out? An optional bale spike easily lifts round bales. If you have a small herd or just a few animals, a bale spike is relatively inexpensive and will facilitate feeding out. It may avert the need to buy a larger, higher spec. tractor.
If you’re interested in developing vegetable gardens or other crops, you may wish to consider a specialised implement such as a rotary hoe or a general-purpose ripper.
